swiss Lakes in Switzerland
The best-known Swiss lake is, of course, Lake Geneva. It hardly needs an introduction. 40% of this lake is on the territory of France. It is among the biggest lakes in Europe, second only to Lake Balaton in size. Lake Geneva covers the cantons of Savoy and Vaud, famous for their vineyards. There are many entertainment venues in the area, as well as a wide variety of eateries, pubs, clubs and accommodation properties. Generally the region is expensive, drawing the elite tourists of the world. You shouldnt miss a trip to Geneva, Montreux and Lausanne, the biggest cities on the lakeshore. Another great destination is Lake Constance, a large lake between Austria, Switzerland and Germany. The Bodan Mountain divides it into two parts - Untersee (south) and berlingersee (north). The striking alpine setting and excellent climate ensure an excellent holiday. There are two trendy casinos, 38 lovely beaches, 24 yacht ports with boats to rent and sailing schools, a myriad of tennis courts, both indoor and outdoor, hundreds of kilometers of bridle paths and hiking trails, over 20 stables for renting horses, many top-class accommodation properties and a multitude of first-rate restaurants on the German lakefront alone. You certainly wont be bored here!

italy Lakes in Italy
