Gathering Customer data

On May 25, 2018, Directive (EU) 2016/680 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data,

In connection with the above, we kindly inform you that your personal details are in our database and we have made every effort to ensure their safety. We would also like to provide the following information:

  3. Providing data is voluntary and the purpose of processing personal data is:
    1. the execution of orders for tourist services
    2. the Implementation of marketing and promotional activities
    3. the distribution of announcements
    4. the implementation of the controller’s legal obligations
  4. The Controller may also process personal data based on legally justified interests of the Controller.
  5. The recipients of personal data, that the Controller provides or entrusts, are third parties within the recipient categories such as: travel agents and suppliers, airlines, hotel chains, hotels, car rental companies, railway service providers, shipowners, companies providing personal transport services, insurance companies, reservation system providers, visa brokers, financial institutions involved in payment processing, subsidiaries of the eTravel capital group and other necessary to execute orders.
  6. Personal data will be transferred to third countries or an international organization, including those outside the European Economic Area if it is required to execute the ordered tourist service.
  7. Personal data will be stored for 6 years from the date of the last order. After this date, deletion or anonymisation will be performed (encryption preventing identification of the data owner).
  8. The data owner has the right to access personal data, to demand it’s amendment, removal or limitation of processing, the right to object to the processing, the right to transfer data.
  9. The data owner has the right to withdraw his consent at any time.
  10. The data owner has the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority.
  11. The Controller obtained personal data directly from the data subject or from a third party authorized by him or her.
  12. Providing personal data is a requirement for completing the order for the booking and purchase of tourist services. If the personal information is not provided, the Controller cannot execute the order.

To deliver special offers, newsletter and other messages to customers who have agreed to receive such information from us. Users may always opt-out from our mailing list.

Credit Card data
We do not request nor store your credit card data even though a credit card is required to make a reservation with us. We use ECARD S.A. Poland’s leading online payment processor to accept payments: http://www.ecard.pl/English.htm. This means we will transfer you to a 100% secure payment page within ecard.pl domain. Once the transaction is complete you will be redirected back to Europe-Mountains.

Tracking website usage
We use Urchin software from Google to track how our customers use the website. Doing so helps us understand the way you use our website and lets us improve it on daily basis. Cookies are a secure way to gather statistical information without disclosing your private data.

Viruses and malicious software
This website does not contain any viruses, Trojan horses or any other malicious software built to cause any damage to computers. Out experienced IT department staff ensure that you are 100% safe when visiting Europe-Mountains.com.

Cookies Policy
1. The Website does not automatically collect any information, with the exception of information contained in cookies.

2. Cookies are IT data, in particular text files, which are stored in the Website User’s terminal device and are designed for use of Website pages. Cookies usually contain the name of their original website, time of their storage in the terminal device and a unique number.

eTravel S.A. with its registered office at the address: Aleje Jerozolimskie 142B, 02-305 Warsaw, operator of the Website, is the entity placing cookies in the terminal device of the Website User and getting access to them.

4. Cookies are used to:
a) adapt the content of Website pages to the User’s preferences and to optimize the use of websites; in particular these files recognize the device of the Website User and allow proper display of the website, which is tailored to meet the User's specific needs;
