Ziano di Fiemme is just 40 km away from Trento, the chief town of the province. Ziano lies at the foot of the Pizzancae near the Lagorai Group. This is an ideal starting point for trips up Mt. Agnello and the Lagorai. The dominant feature of the village is the many sawmills. Among the attractions in Ziano is the Madonna di Loreto chapel, dating back to 1666 and restored over time. It has a portal made of sculptured wood and a medieval atrium around the door. Inside you will see a 19th century sundial.
