Adamello Ski Ski Resort - 100 km ski runs

The Passo Tonale - Ponte di Legno network of slopes consists of 100 km of intermediate and easy trails with some fantastic black runs. On the one hand, you’ve got the towns of Ponte di Legno and Temu, maintained in a traditional style, and on the other hand Passo Tonale, a French style purpose-built village that is 1800 m above sea level. The former include trails through the forests over Temu and Ponte di Legno, and the latter features trails over the exposed slopes of the Presena glacier at almost 3,000 m.

The region is divided into two parts. The sporty Passo Tonale is actually dozens of buildings along the alpine road from Val di Sole to Ponte di Legno. Part of the village is still in Trentino, the other part (along with the rest of the region) belongs to Lombardy. Ski runs are located on both sides of the road. The northern side features tens of shorter and longer trails, which enable going up to 2,500 m above sea level. In addition to the beaten tracks you can try off-piste. On the other side lies Presena – a glacier that enables skiing almost throughout the whole year (the glacier is protected from the sun in July and August, when instead of skiing, walking tours are possible). Though there are only 4 km of trails on the glacier, it is the goal of many skiers who like to ride off the beaten track. The Pista Paradiso black trail, running under the gondola, is one of the most popular in the region.

A pleasant red trail leads from Passo Tonale to Ponte di Legno through forest terrain (the other side can be reached by a gondola lift). Ski runs between Temu and Ponte di Legno start at an altitude of 1120 m.a.s.l. and go up to 2100 m.a.s.l. Together, both villages offer 30 km of runs, and only intermediate and difficult trails are available.

When choosing accommodation in the region of Adamello Ski it is worth analyzing your needs. Skiers seeking mainly sports thrills should book accommodation in Passo Tonale, and those who want to spend their holiday in a typical Italian resort will enjoy staying in Temu or Ponte di Legno.

Adamello Ski ski resort reviews

Passo Tonale was very a very nice surpise. The main reason: you can choose where to ski depending of the weather conditions! If you do not like to ski when it is foggy or windy, you can ski in Ponte di Legno ( great part of Adamelo Ski Resort, surrounded by trees ). In general, Adamelo ski is a very good resort for families.

This resort is too far from Warsaw. We would like to go for skiing to Austria, because it is closer to Poland. In spite of all we will go once again to Passo Tonale-beautiful ski resort.
Michał
We did not have bus transport between 12,30 and 15,30 exact the time we did need most! This was our only one complaining!
Bianca
Ponte di legno is not for beginners but passo tonale nearby is great.
Arno
Normalka, początek sezonu, więc spodziewana pustka.
