The Alta Badia ski area is in good company. From the north it borders with the popular Kronplatz, and from the south it is limited by Arabba - Marmolada, while west of Alta Badia lies the famous Val Gardena. The region consists of six localities offering access to 130 km of trails in the valley and further hundreds of routes lie in the ski resorts of Sella Ronda, which are connected by lifts.

Over half of the 130 km of trails have been marked blue, which means that even a beginner can use almost the entire infrastructure of the resort. Ski runs stretched between San Cassiano, La Villa and Corvara form one large complex, full of comfortable chair lifts and pleasant, sunny pistes. Those choosing to ski in this part of the region can enjoy views of the majestic Sella Group from Piz Boe (3150 m.a.s.l.). Slightly off the beaten path lies the town of Badia, which offers direct access to four routes that will lead you to La Villa. On the other hand you have Colfosco, situated over Corvara in the direction of Val Gardena, which enables you to ski almost directly from the hotel door.

Skiing in Alta Badia is not only going down many kilometers of fantastically prepared trails. It’s also the atmosphere and the pleasure derived from consumption. You can find huts on the sidelines of almost every trails, where you can grab a bite to eat while admiring the views of the peaks surrounding the valley.

The choice of accommodation in Alta Badia depends on your holiday plans. Those who do not intend on going beyond the local ski runs can choose between all the offers except for Colfosco and Badia, which do not offer direct access to the lifts in the main part of the resort. Skiers planning trips to neighbouring Arabba or Val Gardena can search for accommodation in Corvara and Colfosco, which are directly connected to Sella Ronda. Those who would like to try skiing in the Kronplatz ski resort can book an apartment or hotel in Badia or La Villa, from where a ski-bus journey takes about 20 minutes.
