Civetta
Civetta is the largest ski area in all of Veneto. Ski runs situated between the impressive peaks of the Dolomites are accessible from the towns of Alleghe, Selva di Cadore and Zoldo Palafavera. Separate slopes have been prepared for beginners in these towns. The exception is Alleghe, situated by a lake, where those beginning their adventure with skis can comfortably take the gondola to the gentle slopes of Piani di Pezze (1470 m.a.s.l.).
However, the whole Civetta ski area is full of easy and intermediate trails. The local runs are usually nice and wide, which will appeal to fans of wide carving turns. In Pecol there are two trails that are lit in the evening, including one with FIS accreditation. Lovers of mountain landscapes should ski at least once down to Alleghe along the Panoramica red trail. And in the afternoon it will be difficult to look away from the rocks forming Monte Pelmo (3168 m) that are lit almost red.
In the Civetta region there are two snow parks, one of which is lit and open in the evening along with the ski runs over Pecol.
