January is a perfect month for a skiing holiday at a good price. The first week of January is usually busy and prices are high, so if you look for a price-effective ski deal we recommend looking at second, third and fourth week of January 2026.
With excellent skiing conditions just about everywhere it makes sense to look at smaller ski resorts, too. With 30-100 km of pistes they have everything you need for a great ski vacation plus a laid back, family atmosphere. The largest Alpine skiing areas are always a perfect choice so do not hesitate to pick any of these either.
