We travel to this Hotel year after year, we love the location and the fact it is traditional old style. It may be a little walk away from the town centre but the bus stop is the first stop en route to the glacier so you are guaranteed a seat on the, otherwise busy, bus. The proprietor and ladies who run the hotel are very attentive and nothing is any trouble.

Another great week at the hotel Trauner. Everything we needed was available. Very good service and we will keep going back!. I would suggest the hotel would benefit from some updating but great value for money. It;s like home from home.

We return to this hotel year after year because we like the location, the staff and the overall feel of the hotel. However we were in a room for two people which they put a camp bed in for our 15 year old daughter which creaked constantly, (it was probably very old) we couldn't get any sleep so then decided to put her mattress on the floor, wished we'd done this at the beginning of the week, but this certainly doesn't put us off as we love this hotel. The food is of a very high standard given the fact that Martina (and sometimes someone helping) cater for the whole hotel and every

We have already stayed at this Hotel three times and intend to stay again in the future. This hotel, although situated outside the town, is excellent for the ski bus because you get on first and manage to get a seat, especially if you are going up to the Glacier. The owner and staff are extremely friendly and very helpful. Another plus is for the size and class of the the Sport Pension Trauner. It is difficult to suggest any major improvements as the accommodation is very pleasant.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there, however some of the rooms could do with a little updating i.e. bathrooms (our shower door was falling off and there was a leak on the bathroom floor, not sure if it was from the radiator or shower. Being on the front of the hotel the traffic was noisy even with the door shut (but this is not really a complaint because it's not the hotel's fault). We have stayed in this hotel before so knew all about it. We chose it because of it's beautiful location (near the castle). The food was still excellent and the staff worked really hard and were very pleasant. Even though a little dilapidated it did not affect our holiday, we love the place. As I said we have stayed there before and would again.

The restaurant staff and the owner speak only little English. It hinders warm atmosphere and good comprehension on both sides. Clear preference is given to German speaking guests.
