The residence "Les Olympiades" welcomes you to visit the wonderful ski resort Val Thorens, set at 2300-3200m altitude. It is located near the ski lifts in the Hameau Caron complex, facing the sports and shopping centre, also close to child care facilities. This charming apartment-house attracts its guests with quality service, friendly ambience and excellent conditions for skiing, hiking and other winter sports. Each room is tastefully furnished and has a balcony and TV. The apartments come with an equipped kitchenette. The public sports centre offers wellness and gym activities in addition to the 140 km of slopes, 30 ski lifts, snow park and “halfpipe” that are in the resort.

The accommodation is fine and the location is good, it's a great ski area and that is the main thing. Our main issue is that the accommodation was not as advertised, by Europe Mountains. It was said to have a bar, swimming pool and sauna. This is all untrue, so we feel the description was most deceptive. Car parking is also strictly forbidden in Val Thorens (the accommodation description implies that it is possible to park on the street), so we had to park 2.5 miles away in the end. Nice ski area though!

The staff was very helpful, they spoke english efficiently. Room was very small but it was stated on the website. 25m is tight living for 4 people.
